Rachel Skye Becher - freelance videographer
Storytelling was a big part of my life long before I was introduced to videography.
From writing short stories, articles and speeches, to public speaking at storytelling festivals and winning provincial french speech competitions - I loved learning to communicate effectively. How to stitch a phrase together just right, or change my cadence and inflection to create impact. Drawing an audience into a story is the thrill of a lifetime.
Video, I soon discovered, opens the door to all of this. And more.
education
Out of high school, I studied media arts in cégep (Montréal) for two years. By my third semester I had decided on the business route and by my fourth I had started freelancing. Soon after, I launched Rachel Skye Media: in fall of 2023, out of Chelsea QC, Canada.
So cheers to new beginnings, fresh ideas, and possibility!
